General conduct
- Respect people. No harassment, slurs, discrimination, threats, or bullying, in character or out. This community includes 18-year-olds. Keep scenes and chat free of sexual content.
- English is the language for voice, text chat, and Discord tickets so staff can moderate.
- Minimum age is 18. Do not play here if you are younger. Lying about your age is a ban.
- No cheating. Mod menus, injection, duping, and abusing bugs are ban offenses. Report a bug in Discord instead of using it.
- Follow staff in the moment. If you disagree with a call, finish the scene and open a Discord ticket. Do not argue it out in OOC chat.
- Contact is Discord only. Do not look for a public email. Reports, appeals, and questions go to a ticket.
Roleplay standards
- Stay in character. Out-of-character talk belongs in
/oocor Discord, and only to fix a technical problem or a rules question. Do not use OOC to negotiate who wins a scene. - Fear RP and value of life. If your character is outgunned, outnumbered, or about to die, they act like it. Look for a realistic way out, including giving up. Do not charge a drawn gun because you are wearing armor.
- No RDM. Random deathmatch is prohibited. Shooting, downing, or killing someone requires a valid in-character reason and enough prior interaction that they can tell why it is happening.
- No VDM. Vehicle deathmatch is prohibited. Do not run people over, ram to kill, or use a car as a weapon without roleplay that supports it.
- No metagaming. Your character knows only what they learned in the world. Streams, Discord, name tags, and “a friend told me” are not in-character knowledge. Do not use outside tools to find or identify players.
- No powergaming. Do not force an action another player has no fair chance to answer. No impossible feats, and no cuffing, searching, or killing someone in a single emote they cannot respond to.
- No fail RP. Play what a person in that situation could actually do. Do not talk through death, ignore a serious injury, or use a game menu to erase a search, an arrest, or a lost fight.
- New life rule. If you are downed and respawn, or you are declared dead, you forget who attacked you and why. Do not return to that scene to identify anyone or restart the fight. Stay away from that conflict for 15 minutes.
- No combat logging. Quitting to avoid roleplay, death, arrest, or a search is prohibited. If the game crashes, reconnect as soon as you can and tell staff in Discord.
Crime and priority
- Initiation. Crime starts with roleplay the other side can see and answer: a demand, a visible threat, a scene. Do not open fire as the first interaction.
- One priority at a time. A bank, a jewelry store, a large hostage scene, or any call that needs most on-duty deputies is a priority. Do not start another major crime while one is active. After it ends, wait 30 minutes before the next major scene.
- Smaller scenes can continue during a priority only if they do not pull deputies off it. A local dispute or a traffic stop is fine. A second robbery is not.
- Group size. Keep crews answerable. No more than four suspects on a store or street scene, and no more than six on a bank or similar, unless staff approve a planned event in advance. Do not recruit in Discord to outnumber the deputies on duty.
- Deputies on duty. Do not start a store robbery with fewer than two deputies on duty, or a bank or jewelry scene with fewer than four. If the numbers are not there, run a smaller scene or wait.
- Leave a scene. Victims get a chance to comply. You go when the demand is met, the plan fails, or staying is no longer viable. Do not hold hostages indefinitely to force a shootout.
- Safe zones. No robberies, kidnappings, or weapons-out roleplay at the hospital, sheriff's stations, fire stations, the courthouse (except a hearing already underway), character creation, or spawn. Do not camp the doors.
- On-duty EMS and Fire who are working a call are not robbery or kidnap targets. Do not bait deputies into a chase or a gunfight that has no story behind it.
Departments and whitelisted roles
- These are roleplay departments. Membership does not make you real law enforcement, real medical staff, a real firefighter, or a real judge, and the server does not require real-life certification.
- Follow SOP and the chain of command while you are on duty.
- Department tools stay on the job. Vehicles, weapons, radios, and CAD access are not for personal scenes or a second character.
- Corruption roleplay is not allowed unless department command approved a written storyline before the scene. Going off duty is not a way around that.
- Clock out before you play a different, civilian character. Do not carry an active scene from one character to another.
- Approval is required. Being in the Discord, or connecting to the server, does not put you in a department.
Discord and out of character
- Use the right channel and stay on topic.
- No advertising other servers or communities without staff permission.
- No doxxing, spam, or raid behavior. That includes posting someone's personal information or sending them to another platform to harass them.
- Tickets are for support, reports, and appeals. Staff are not on call every minute. Do not ping the whole staff list for a status check.
- Respect staff. Insulting or baiting them in voice or text is its own rule break, separate from whatever you were arguing about.
- Discord is not in-character knowledge. Anything you learn in a ticket, a staff channel, or a stream stays out of the scene.
- Out-of-character disputes stay in Discord. Do not import a Discord argument into a character scene.
Whitelist and applications
- Civilians can connect. You may join, create a character, and look around without an application.
- Departments require an application. Sheriff, EMS, Fire, Court Official, and Judge are closed until staff accept you.
- Staff roles require an application. Server Admin, Moderator, and Developer, and Discord Admin, Moderator, Support, and Management, are reviewed the same way.
- Review happens in Discord. Submit the form on this site. Staff read it there and reply there. One application per position. Do not DM random people for a decision.
- Age on the form is 18+. The acknowledgement checkbox is the same rule as the server rule.
Punishments
Staff use the smallest step that fits the break: a verbal correction, a logged warning, a kick, a temporary ban, or a permanent ban. Severity and history both count. Cheating, doxxing, hate, and repeated combat logging can skip straight to a ban. Appeals are a Discord ticket, not an argument in chat. A ban can cover both the server and the Discord when it is the same person and the same conduct.
